AWAD aims to continue using its experiences, knowledge and understanding of grassroots perspectives for strengthening its partnership with mainstream bodies.

AWAD is building on its unique achievement to strengthen its role as the leading international grassroots African women led organisation who spearhead the campaign for recognition of African women's arts contribution to global development. Through a range of strategies, AWAD will ensure sustainable development for grassroots African community groups to have opportunities that value their cultural experience.
